Harvest Notes for Week 19 (Aleph)

Romanesco is a hybrid that is sometimes called “fractal broccoli” or “psychedelic broccoli.” Don’t confuse it with romesco sauce from Spain!

This week’s Harvest Notes talk about the colorful beauty in our share.

Plan ahead for our Closing Event at the final delivery on November 14th!  We will be at a new location, which offers a pizza kitchen so you can pick up veggies and dinner at the same time.  They even have a gluten-free crust option you can order ahead, and can probably do dairy-free as well.

The farmers think that we may receive salad radishes, salad turnips, lettuce heads, romanesco or cauliflower, carrots, onion, cilantro, and possibly tomatos or peppers.
